Blissful memories are like a series of images on a film strip. Looking back whilst recalling the good times, we will undoubtedly be swept by the benevolent breeze of overwhelming emotions. The primary depiction of positive values and attitudes towards living is brought to light through a family hike. Healthy relationships in a family are truly one of the keys to optimism- but so is fulfilling an active lifestyle. To illustrate the fond remembrance of a good tfme, I have utilized saturated colors to emphasize the warmth of my objective of ua good time”. As for highlighting the main image in the film strip, other variables, such as the girl and the rest of the strip in the background, are drawn in subtle colors and are slightly blurred.

As I walk between flashing lights and excited people I take in the scene, the happiness in the air, and I think,’This is a time that I will remember.’Indeed, even though the carnival was long gone and only shadows were left behind, that night continues to shine in my memories.’In this piece I carefully hold up a glpbe reflecting a fond memory from long ago, a wonderful time at a carnival that wasn’t here anymore. It was warm like the colours I used, and even though the carnival’s gone now and some details in my memory were hazy like it was covered in smoke, the bright flashing lights continue to stand out in my memories. I had wanted to share the excitement I had felt at the carnival, and this competition had given me the perfect opportunity. I hope that anyone seeing this piece will feel some of the warmth and happiness that I had felt that night.

Life in Hong Kong is full of ups and downs- adapting to the hectic routine and living without her parents in Hong Kong are the bitterness of her life. However, the sweet times of celebrating Lunar New Year and joining art activities with her classmates are what linger. Together, the bitterness and sweetness, forms a memorable time.
For artistic choices, we used roses as a symbolism of family, which it appears throughout the video. The color tone of the video is mainly vivid to show the happy times and the excitement when returning to her hometown. For scenes showing the bitterness in life, the color tone is dull that brings a sense of desolation.
We hope our video can encourage viewers to live in the moment and look forward to the good things in life as good times will eventually come despite how bitter your current life might be.
